Antalis is one of the leading suppliers of printing and office paper, packaging materials and equipment. Every day, thanks to the branches in 43 countries on 5 continents and the staff of more than 5,500 employees, the company makes up to 14,000 deliveries of a wide range of polygraphic products.

The international company is represented in three Russian cities: Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don. The branch includes a sales office, a warehouse, a site for servers in a data center; there are sales offices and warehouses in Saint Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don

Challenge

All sites have a secured connection both to data center and to each other; and a connection to European resources is made through the data center.

Due to an increased load on outdated equipment and in order to boost security, the company decided to upgrade the branch network.

Solution

When working on the project, LWCOM specialists performed:

The audit of the existing network infrastructure of Antalis

The approval procedure for the customer to set requirements to the new network performance

Development of the architecture of a new solution and equipment selection

Equipment procurement to customer’s facilities, its assembling and calibration in accordance with the manufacturer’s best practices

Final commissioning and start-up and integration of a new solution into the customer’s infrastructure

Result

As a result of the performed works the customer obtained a pool of updated devices that provides the company an access to service warranty and vendor support.

A new scheme of connection of Russian branches to European offices allowed reducing operational expenses on communication channels significantly.
