Panavto is one of the biggest Mercedes-Benz dealership centers in Europe involved in sales and maintenance of premium class motor vehicles for over 27 years. Panavto has been granted prestigious award in various nominations multiple times for its operations and a customer-oriented approach.
Panavto ideology is a combination of a car boutique and a cultural center which allows turning the procedure of vehicle purchase and maintenance into pleasure.
A previous Wi-Fi network had exhausted its technical resources and did not correspond to the required parameters of speed, availability and performance.
The following was required to provide a high-quality user access and support for all business processes of the dealership center:
Panavto territory is a space where a car dealership, an accessories boutique, a restaurant, an exhibition gallery, a service center, office premises and parking areas are combined under the same roof.
For each room LWCOM engineers performed the full cycle of works on pre-installation radio inspection to find the best possible areas for access points installation.
Special features of both layout of premises and types of works performed there were considered during pre-installation radio inspection to ensure provision of a high-quality and uninterrupted Wi-Fi access.
Pre-installation radio inspection was performed in a similar manner in the exhibition space with a ceiling dome height of more than 10 meters, offices, restaurant, multi-storey covered parking and other facilities of the dealership center.
Thus, after the performed works LWCOM specialists provided a complete report and a plan of optimal placement of access points on the territory of Panavto.
As a result of pilot trials performed by the customer, the controllers, internal and external access points made by Ruckus Wireless, an international manufacturer of intelligent products and Wi-Fi technologies, were chosen as a wireless network basis.
Further assembling and calibration of the solution were performed by a professional technical team of the Panavto dealership center under the guidance of the Chief Information Officer.
A set of works, including radio monitoring and pre-installation radio inspection performed by LWCOM engineers, as well as solution commissioning and start-up performed by the Panavto team, resulted in a high-performance, reliable and stable wireless Wi-Fi coverage.
Such a coverage provided a high-quality and fast Wi-Fi guest access for clients, as well as support for the car dealership business processes.
